Anyone know what causes this and a fix. I know it's either driver related or hardware. I am using an X-FI Xtreme Audio card with 5.1 and on some of the payware planes with digitized sounds it gets pretty bad. Would appreciate any feedback.

Phasing is when you can hear the engines progress through your surround system, Say I pan left to right you'll hear a whooshing noise from the engines but it sounds kind of digitized. You hear it on old NES and Xbox 360s when a crowd would cheer in a game. It sounds looped.

I think I know what you mean - do you have this problem on the default Goose? I have some sort of looping issues with it, also with the Captainsim C130I don't know how to fix it, I have the latest x64 Vista drivers from Creative.

I think I'm getting the same thing you describe using an Audigy soundcard. However, after flying for a while it goes away and sound is normal.

I have an SoundBlaster to, I remember reading something about how the drivers don't work with vista or 64 bit correctly. I'm having all sorts of issues now too.
