Hi AllBeen using FS2004 since it came out. Goes very well considering my set up; Processor 1.8 AMD, Grahics card Asus 65 mg memory 1.25 RAM.Pretty basic eh? System is now beginning to creak a bit. I don't have much cash to upgrade but am considering AMD athlon x2 64 bit dualcore 7750. 4 gig memory etc. But the card is a Geforce 6150 onboard & i suspect this may be bad news for the sim. Do i need to add a dedicated graphics card & can you recommend a reasonable priced one? More details available for my intended system if you need them.Cheers Rod H

Rod,I would get a dedicated graphics card. You can get a Nvidia 9800 GTX+ 512MB for anywhere from $105 to $130. That will be plenty of horsepower for FS2004 and decent for FSX as well.Regards,Bob Modrowski

It looks like i am going to get the 9800 GTX when funds permit. Is it difficult to disable the on board 6150 chip & instal the new caed?CheersRod

Not at all:-Uninstall the graphics drivers for the on board-Run Driver Sweeper to clean up.------->HERE-Reboot-Install the latest Nvidia drivers-Reboot
