July 24, 200916 yr I remember in avsims file library, there use to be some freeware FSgenesis landclass addons for the US , I had copies of them on a dvd but it went MIA. Does anybody know where I can get them again?
July 24, 200916 yr I've been looking for the same files, especially the Appalachian files. I ended up installing an older but still good mesh I had on DVD years ago. Couple GBs of data.I'm pretty sure the FSGenesis regional meshes are Avsim file library-exclusive. They're also pretty good sized files, so it's looking like a no go, Ernie. This is a great buy, though. Was $120+, now $50. And it's good stuff. ___________________________________________________________________________________ Zachary Waddell -- Caravan Driver -- Facebook: http://www.facebook.com/zwaddell Avsim ToS Avsim Screenshot Rules
July 25, 200916 yr Anyone use the Hawaii mesh and landclass? I'd like to know how it shapes up. I'm using FSGlobal and Hawaii doesn't look anything like it does in real life. Believe me I know FSGlobal is just elevation data :)Mark

Does anybody know where I can get them again? The Landclass is available directly from Justin's website: http://www.fsgenesis.com/Merchant2/merchan...egory_Code=LC04Not free, but not a deal breaker either. Also, the Hawaii Mesh and Landclass are on sale currently. July 25, 200916 yr My suggestion is if you can afford it in view of these trying times, purchase FS Genisis Galaxy membership. Justin ships all he has with all the most recent updates, with the exceptions of The World Landclass, Waterfalls, and World Terrain buffer, which is downloadable for free. You then get all future new products and updates free. He will be the first to tell you that there are a lot of files here at AVSIM that are Free, but they are all pretty old and outdated, although usable.Justin puts the Galaxy memberships as well as his media bundles on sale from time to time, so keep an eye out for them.http://www.fsgenesis.net/Justin also has a pretty good forum going, and provides an excellent and timely support through email or the forum.John

July 25, 200916 yr That does look nice...thanks Feng! I checked a bunch of places and couldn't find any screenshots of the landclass or mesh. Hey, gotta question. Your post said that you're only using active sky for the textures. Are you doing anything in particular to get that coloration? Mark
