You surf on web and on some forum : "fsx run great on 285" ... "me not" ... " beter to got a 8800gtx" ... "buy a I7"... "go with the 4890 by ati !!!" ... "No ati are ######"..."Buy a 275 ..." "Overclock""With fsx you cant run on max graphix...""No I can... I got a 8800gtx..."You know what I mean? LOL :( :( And there are my computer .. Ordinateur: Type de syst

You'll want more than 2GB RAM for FSX and certainly faster than the 400MHz PC2-3200 modules you have. That's the slowest grade DDR2 and by no means acceptable for providing bandwidth to a modern processor. DDR2 is absurdly cheap right now, you can get 4GB of 1066 speed for $50 from Newegg, or if you can't purchase from Newegg most European retailers will have similar prices in Euros. The rest of your list looks good, but you may want to spring for a quad core and overclock instead, if your budget allows.

Hey hello again TechguyMaxC :)Just want to ask you how your pc work... Does it runs great on FSX and other recent game ? What its better a Quad at 3 ghz (the q6950 if I remmember..) or a 3ghz e8400... And what is better XP ? VISTA 32bits, 64 bits ? Or Win7 32bits or 64 bits ?can runs FSX at a great FPS at high graphic, can you show me all your component and how much you spend for your compu plz?The nvidia 275 are great ?I'm from Canada (Quebec) Newegg got more item but cost a little more than DirectCanada (because DirectCanada ship for free on 300$ and over I think) ... But If you can make me a "wishlist" ON NEWEGG for arround 1200$ I will be more than happy...Sry for all those question... 1200$ its not nothing.. And I want to make a great choiceThank youBye

All else being equal, more cores are better. In the specific example you provided the quad core system would be faster, in FSX at least. My system runs FS9 with everything cranked, FSX with most sliders maxed out and effects enabled @ 1080P with AA but it can get a bit choppy on takeoff and landing at the biggest airports w/3rd party AC. The 275 is a great card.Remi I've built you a wishlist on newegg.ca and shared it as RemiNadeau. Went slightly over budget but it's a core i7 rig with the proper equipment to overclock and last you years. The list may not show up for awhile though, not sure how often Newegg updates their shared wishlists. Just search newegg's shared wishlists for "RemiNadeau" when you want to look. If you can't see it by tomorrow send me a private message and I can e-mail it to you.

ok thx for the reply ;)For now I don't see it on Newegg.. But I will take a look tomorow :) Thx If I choose the I920, I've read that we can OC them to 4ghz... I'm new to OC and I don't know If I will able to do that with this instruction-->http://www.overclockers.com.au/files/Core%...12.12_(ENG).pdfWhat do you think ??Goodnight and thx a lot

Remi, the guide you've posted is for a different motherboard but the principle is the same. I believe there are other P6T owners on these very forums that have shared their settings required to hit 4GHz so it shouldn't be too hard to get the info you need. Don't count on 4GHz though, not all chips will hit this magical number on air cooling. High 3's is very realistic though.

Hi and thx again for the reply :( For me OC the I920 to 3.6 will be a great succes lol I didint see the wishlist again... I think you need to press "share" maybe in your personnal wishlist to share to public list... Anyway thank you for the help :( Just one last question ; XP, Vista or Win7 ? 32 bits or 64 bits" ?

That's a toss-up....XP 64bit is probably the least intrusive operating system (by that I mean it uses less resources than the others)I use Vista x64, only because I never bought XP 64bit

Remi, I have shared the wishlist, I think it just takes Newegg awhile to make them public. Looking at their public wishlist page the most recent entries come from the 24th so I think they're a couple days behind. If you send me a private message with your email I can send you the wishlist.

ok I have send you a PMthx...*Its true ? Windows XP pro 64 bits can support 128 gb of ram ??? But they do not support a lot of games ?? Because I dont wanna play only at FSX...
