Heathrow pictures on FS2004 COF

Featured Replies

Hi,You can take a look to some pictures taken at EGLL by airsim.net (pt.simflight) in the new Microsoft Flight Simulator 2004. Here's the link:http://www.airsim.net PJC

I'm glad they actually put down tarmac textures instead of trying to use the image itself. It turned out horrible at all the big airports that have tarmacs that look like grass and dirt. Nice thought, but it just didnt work at all.

Heathrow looks great! You can definitely see where FSAA could come in handy here.Robb

is that default Heathrow textures or the UK VFR photographic scenery??? it looks like the latter.

Looks like the London Scenery might have high detailed aerial textures on the ground, abit like the other major cities that Ive seen in FS2004, Miami for example. If you look closely you can see some autogen buildings ontop and also on the other screenshots too. The whole country wont look like that though with the nice ground textures just I guess the London Area and the rest will be an improved version of the textures we have now from what I have seen too.
