HiI have parts of u.s states in different drives,so for instance if i have parts of utah in a cache in drive D can i cut and paste them over to autah cache in drive M?Will mixing and maybe duplicating them to each other cause any problems ? What would be the best way to do this .My thanks for your advice and help.DON

Provided that they belong to the same service provider then I owuldnot think there wold be a problem. However, don't take my word for it. See if anyone else responds.Thats what I would do.IAN

The copying part should not be any problem; I've done it extensively. But as Ian advised, you may want to consider whether the tiles at any given level are from the same source. Even if they're not TP will not care and FSX will not care. When the quality of one service changes, I frequently 'trim' the edges' and then resume flying with tiles from a different service. I do normally copy with Xcopy so I can control precisely what I'm transferring and also instruct it not to overwrite existing files. You can drag-n-drop if you want.Loyd

Hooked since FS4... now flying: FSX Acceleration on Win7/64, Core Duo E8400; GA-EP45-DS3R; GTX 460-768MB; 4G RAM; Freezer 7 Pro
