Phantom Time Changes In FSX

Featured Replies

Hi everyone. I have a relatively insignificant situation occurring in FSX that is just enough to require a query on this forum:I don't usually watch the (inaccurate) clock while flying, but when I do I notice that it will inexplicably change back or forward (usually back) an hour. This is not a huge inconvenience and can be rectified by clicking World->Time&Season->Reset. The only time it is a problem is when I am flying during the dusk to dark transition. If the time suddenly goes back an hour my scenery instantly switches from relative darkness to the sunset that had now passed. It is not time zone sensitive. Is this an anomaly within FSX that can be cured? I can certainly live with it before I would do a re-install. Any ideas?Running FSX (SP2) in WinXP (fully SP'd). Occurs with all aircraft at any time of the day and any time during the flight. Running all default scenery. Thanks in advance for any responses.

I think this is a known problem inherent to FSX. if you have a registered copy of FSUIPC there is setting to keep the FS clock sync'd to the computer.
