August 18, 200916 yr I have just had a new pc built with Vista Home 64bit installed. Having reinstalled FSX I am trying to find my way around the explorer structure compared with XP.However, whilst my Scenery.cfg' file is contained within the main FSX directory, it does not seem to be updating on adding scenery through the scenery library. When going into the scenery library in FSX, the added sceneries are shown and on loading FSX they do appear, but the Scenery.cfg is not updated. Where oh where is the updated scenery.cfg. so that I may adjust it manually ?Cheers if anyone using Vista can advise?Stuart
August 18, 200916 yr I'm not on my FS PC now, but the're three scenery.cfg files: One in the FSX folder and one somehere in the user's profile folder (c:\users\xxx on Vista) which both aren't updated. The important one is on Vista in "c:\program data\microsoft\fsx" or so, that's the one which reflects all scenery installations. Simply search your drive(s) for the file.Andreas Andreas, LOWW - Nihil sumus et fuimus mortales. Respice, lector: In nihil ab nihilo quam cito recidimus.
