I'd posted this on another forum, but would like to hear from any here who'd care to contribute. Does anyone here use both the FSD Super Cub as well as the Cub from Bill Lyons? Apart from the obvious (engine and IFR capable), how would you compare them? Have read much, just not purchased one yet. Thanks.Rick

Go with Bill's! The FSD one is nice (and has a great looking pilot ;-) ), but a bit dated and comes only with the aircraft. The Lyons package is just that a package, you get several versions of the Cub, a jeep, a sailboat, scenery, ambient sounds, etc, a great deal for the money!!! Even though the FD aren't Steve's, they are still quite good! Hell, get both!! Can't have to many Cubs in the hanger! I guess I agree with the previous poster. I own both, and I like both. FSD has very nice flight dynamics and VC, and the model is perhaps even more detailed than Bill's. But still, it is an fsds model and it is not likely to be updated anymore as its designer is no longer a member of FSD, so there is no guarantee it will work in fs2004.The Lyons cub is a bit more fun oriented, with custom nameplates, float, ski and two wheeled variants, a sailboat, a car, some flights... It flies smoothly and will spin and do aerobatics, but I suspect that FSD has more fidelity in the FD.- Oyvind
