This might be what you are seeking - although it is not an EZ style object. It would need to be placed with another design program such as FSSC.Name: txilgtv1.zip Size: 25,903 Date: 04-22-2008 Downloads: 994 txilgtv1.gif FS2004 Scenery Objects--Taxi Light API v1.0. An api taxi light object for use in scenery design software such as FSSC, etc. By Ed Cox.You can find it at Flightsim.com

That is a taxiway light, David, whereas Michael wants a runway light. In addition, it is an old-style API and while it should work most of the time, it may cause some problems on occasion.Anyway, Michael, if you do not wish to make your own, you can try that one and just change the bitmap. You do not mention exactly what type of light you want (with base, without, high/medium/low intensity, long or medium height stalk-post, FAA or ICAO, etc.) so here is a small sample of bitmaps:Honeywell_HI_base_hirl_whiteHoneywell_HI_tall_hirl_whiteHoneywell_MI_mirl_whiteHoneywell_RTO25_ICAO_mirl_whiteHoneywell_RTO25_mirl_whitePEL_50000_mirl_whiteSiemens_44A2074_lirl_whiteSiemens_44C1201_hirl_whiteSiemens_44C1752_mirl_whiteThere are of course many more variants and models, not excluding the red and amber end of runway and warning lights. FS Scenery Creator is somewhat difficult to use nowadays, but you can use SBuilder or SBuilderX to place APIs and other macro objects.Best regards.Luis

Thanks guys. Luis, I am in need of this style (Honeywell_MI_mirl_white). What do you mean by "use that and change the bitmap"? I only know how to add pre-made objects in EZ Scenery.Michael

Hello Michael,That model is probably very common in the U.S. Take a look at the first package that David recommended and you will see a pair of bitmaps. Just open them in any editing program, even Windows Paint, and copy-paste the one you want over the taxiway light, as so:You can also probably just make a copy and give it the same name as the night version. Then, I recommend using SBuilder or SBuilderX to place the API in your scenery.Best regards.Luis

If I am able to change the bmp, is there something that can be done to use it in the EZ Scenery program?Michael

FYI - Arno, over at FSDeveloper, is currently working on a utility program which will convert API Macros into mdl files which can then be converted to an EZ style Object library. The program still has a lot of bugs in it and more work is required to get them all sorted out. I just tried the beta version on the API macro in question and it does not work.Hopefully in a few more weeks Arno will be able to devote some time to work on the Convertor program - he just got married or is about to and FS work is not a priority right now.

Thanks David. I'll be looking for this one. Michael
