August 28, 200916 yr OK, I have changed some time ago from default 0.7 in VirtualCockpit to 1.0. Now I fly usually the planes, which require 0.7-0.8 zoom. How to revert it? I do remember, that it was stated under cameras.cfg, but it does not help me. I have changed it, but the default flight is always at 1.0 zoom level. Bartłomiej Ender

The camera definition in the Cameras.cfg (remembering that this is the cameras.cfg in the same folder as FSX.cfg - in the individual users folder \Application Data\Microsoft\FSX - not the backup copy in the FSX installation folder) and also the saved camera configurations in the default flight. For zoom level, the original value was 0.7 in Cameras.cfg but this is NOT actually the starting value in a flight; "initial Zoom" is a reset value that you will see if you reset the zoom level (backspace key). A flight starts with the zoom level that is recorded in the default flight or a previously saved flight if you resume it.To make 'reset' be 0.7 again you should set that value in the cameras.cfg but to begin flights with that value, also make that the zoom value in the default flight. You can reload the default flight and adjust to the value you want and re-save it. You can also just edit the default flight file itself and manually adjust the saved VC Zoom value found there:VC parameters in my 'default flight'Guid={C95EAB58-9E4A-4E2A-A34C-D8D9D948F078} <-- VC camera ends in F078Zoom=0.5 <------------------------------------- my flights all start with VC zoom 50%Hope this helps you get things set the way you wantLoyd Hooked since FS4... now flying: FSX Acceleration on Win7/64, Core Duo E8400; GA-EP45-DS3R; GTX 460-768MB; 4G RAM; Freezer 7 Pro
