i am using the Flybe summer 08 flightplans off flightsim.com but i am not using the aircraft that it suggests, i am using different repaints. When i load FS9 up the flights are not there and i think its is because im not using the recommended repaints, so i am wondering how i can edit this data (below) to match the repaints i have? and secondly what the AC#1,285 part means?AC#1,285,"Flybe DeHavilland Dash8-Q400 - Revised livery, colored dots on front"thanks

AC#1 refers to the aircraft that flight plan is supposed to use.The aircraft are numbered in the aircraft.txt file used for compiling plans with TTools. You should check that file and make sure that whatever plane AC#1 is assinged to is actually installed in FS.

What I have highlighted in red must match exactly the title= line from the aircraft.cfg entry for the livery you wish to use.And that will only work if there is a flight plan for AC#1 in the flightplans.txt file associated with that Aircraft.txt file from the same traffic file.Are you confused yet? If so we can explain further.The "285" in that entry refers to the cruising speed for that aircraft.Hope this helps,Joe[edit]re-reading my post, maybe I can be more clear.I will assume you have decompiled the flightplan with Traffic Tools.Open the Flightplans*.txt file with Notepad.Search for (ctrl + F) AC#1 and see if it is indeed listed in the file. Careful, the search will also find AC#10,AC#11 etc., these are not the same.If AC#1 is in the Flightplans*.txt, then you can edit the Aircraft*.txt file as noted above, saving your changes.Then you will have to recompile the traffic.bgl with Traffic Tools.Hope this is more clear,Joe[/edit]
