September 5, 200916 yr Commercial Member If you have the option then yeah install the 744 first before the MD-11, but it shouldn't matter, the installer won't let the 744 overwrite the newer PMDGOptions.dll that the MD-11 uses...J41 is 100% a new product and does not use PMDGOptions.dll - the MD-11 was the last aircraft to use it, the developer responsible no longer works here and each aircraft will have its own discrete dlls from now on.
