September 6, 200916 yr hi, it seems there is a missing texture.. its also missing on the right engine sideknittl mIt's painted black because that area would be exhausted stain covered anyway. Plus, it might be a high temperature tolerant paint whereas the regular white wing paint is not.Saab 340's are painted this way as well. Dan
