engine sounds when switching planes

Featured Replies

This is bizarre. I start with the default Cessna, just to be sure. I load the tutorial flight. Then I switch to the US Airways repaint and when it loads the engine spool up sounds play repeatedly. There is no power to the plane. All switches are off. Very bizarre. And, after successfully flying the tutorial last night, I have had 5 CTDs in the past half hour of tinkering. Anybody else having that engine running issue when changing planes from a C&D situation? Looks like a promising plane if I could only get it to run. Thanks, EddieKABQ

this happens to me too (well, not the CTDs )...the tutorial flight loads and flies fine, but any time i switch to a different livery i get the engine spooling. i think for some reason the other liveries load with the start sequence running..i just hit the engine stop switches.. and everything seems fine, the props are still latched and so forth.. near as i can tell it's in the proper cold and dark state ...cheers,-andy crosby
