September 8, 200916 yr I can't make a comment about the J41 without saying first: IT IS AWESOME! This is so much fun: after some flights I feel tired instead of bored. I knew flying turboprops was a bit more busy than the big ones, but man... this is hard work.Ok, now my problem: after a couple of flights to get familiar with the J41 with mouse and joystick, I am now configuring my yoke to work with this plane. With the MD11 this was already quite difficult but with the possibility to add a shortcut to almost every command and with the 2d panels to make macro's with FSUIPC almost everything was doable. To my surprise, in the J41 many of the commands are not programmable to my yoke. Eg altering the autopilot altitude can only be done by mouse clicking. Flying this bird is already quite heavy ( :( ) but with the need to constantly switching between mouse, keyboard and yoke it ain't getting better :( Therefore my question to PMDG: could you please in future products (and maybe already with this one with a patch) provide as much shortcuts as possible for people who use a yoke, throttle quadrants, pedals etc. in conjunction with FSUIPC? That would make life a lot easier! Looking forward to your opinion about this.
