September 10, 200916 yr Hi,just a short question. I'm in the process of squeezing out a few fps here with the config panel. It also gives you the option to change the refresh rate of some instruments. However those are only marked as percentage. The question is what 100% relates to. What is the max refresh rate in times per second? Best regards, Oliver

Best regards, OliverMax refresh/update rate for any FS gauge is 18 times per second. 100% corresponds to that. 66% will give you 12 FPS rate which is pretty good.Note : gauges utilise anti-stutter : If your visual frame rate is X fps then the panel will not try to refresh vector displays faster no matter what you set in the config manager.Vangelis ==================================== E M V Precision Manuals Development Group ====================================
September 10, 200916 yr Author Ah ok. Thanks for the fast help. I had it set to 50% and found that pretty acceptable for me. That's why I wondered what the 100% mark actually is.

This will give you an additional small boost in performance. Vin Scimone Precision Manuals Development Group www.precisionmanuals.com

That's still better than any other VCs and add some more fps compared to the HD VC.Phil Phil Leaven i5 10600KF, 32 GB 3200 RAM, ASUS 4070 12GB EVO, Asus ROG Z490-H, 2 WD Black NVME for each Win11 (500GB) and MSFS (1TB), Rolling Cache 16GB, Photogrammetry always OFF, Live Weather and Live Traffic always ON, Res 2560x1440 on 27"
September 10, 200916 yr Author I did. Given the fact that I fly on a subnotebook my screen res isn't that high anyway and the high res instrumentation only makes a difference at very close zooms. Normal res is pretty much fine with me.Oliver

September 10, 200916 yr Author Ironically enough I tend to fly from FO position - mainly because I get something useful in my sight instead of the dead WRX. Somehow I feal more attracted to the FO seat. :(
