September 10, 200916 yr hi,i need some help with autopilot navigation mode in j41,my aircraft does not seem to be tracking the route fed into fms though nav button shows armed ,but there is no response from the aircraft,it does not deviate from the existing heading to follow the flight plan,seems like i am flying around in circles,the aircraft does not seem to respond to changes made in heading as well though the heading button is on, is there some minor issue i am missing out onvivek http://www%28delete_this%29.precisionmanua...m/supporter.jpg

September 10, 200916 yr yes i did ,is it the same as ap/trim switchvivekThat AP/Trim switch (Big red switch on the glareshield) isn't the same as the actual AP engage switch.You have to reach down to the center pedestal and push the button manually. This also engages the YD (button to the right - if flying as Captain - of the AP engage button).You can also easily bring up the 2D panel which includes the FMS and AP settings with Shift + 3.
