As my wife will be the first to tell you, the last thing I am going to spend money on is sitting on a hot, sandy beach, sweating and lowering my skin cancer threshold and all the while getting ate alive by sand fleas. No thanks. The last time I was any where near the Caribbean was a trip to Green Turtle Key in the Bahamas in 1984, courtesy of Texas A&M's Marine Archeology Department, and the only reason I went was that they paid me, but I still had be dragged, kicking and screaming, to the research vessel... :-)
