Are you running out of available memory? I just had to work through an issue where I had disappearing textures and stuff cause I was FSX was unable to read anything past 3.2GB of memory (since it is a 32 bit program). If you have a GTX 280 the thing I did was add a bufferpool to my fsx.cfg file and so far that has fixed my issues (crosses fingers). If you go in the fsx.cfg and just put in the following:[bufferpools]poolsize=490000000You can use any number you wish. That is for between 450-490mb of video memory on your card. They say as long as you have 1GB of RAM on your video card or more you can try to use the tweak. Here is the tutorial I got it from: http://www.simforums.com/forums/forum_post...=29041&PN=1 . I cannot recommend it enough. It has helped me a lot.

Did you get any details from the error message at the CTD?

Thanks very much for your attention and sugestion. I did was add a bufferpool to my fsx.cfg file before but with side effects in terms of image.I get superb frame rates and gorgeous images given by REX 2 and Ultimate Terrain and the airplane behaves greatly. It's indeed a great pleasure but just for 5 minutes... the sim exits without trace and leaving behind a simple message:"FAIL TO READ FROM FILE"

"FAIL TO READ FROM FILE" it's the message.I guess the reason for this issue is related with a FMS programmed flight because in a short VFR flight nothing wrong takes place. Is this clarification ilucidative enough for an happy and? I hope so!Thanks a lot in any way.
