September 21, 200916 yr For a really nice free cloud/sky set check this thread:http://www.sim-outhouse.com/sohforums/showthread.php?t=22757very nice indeed...
September 21, 200916 yr Oh that reminds me! You can also use Flight Environment X (the one for FSX) to install HQ clouds into FS9. Clouds need be set to 1024 I think and 32bit, and ONLY to install clouds... I know its working out, I have it set up on my Laptop to install over network. Works really neat.
September 22, 200916 yr You may want to look for Howards Mix. A search of the file library may turn it up. I don't remember where I got it but it makes FS9 look similar to FSX including detailed clouds. Over a thousand fixes I believe. I added it and was quite impressed. I did scale the clouds back a bit due to a hit on frames per second though. FSX just runs too slow on my system so I had gone back to FS9.
September 22, 200916 yr Careful using Howard's mix. I didn't bother with it after looking at the screen shots but I heard many people having problems uninstalling it. - Red E8500 @ 4.1 | EVGA 275GTX (overclocked) | 2x2GB Mushkin Enhanced Redline @ 1066 | Samsung 24inch LCD @ 1920x1080 |

I'we learned the hard way. My Specification: I CAN RUN FSX IN MAX SETTINGS....i don't care about dell, bell, amd, intel, 60000 wats power supply or alien made graphic card....
September 22, 200916 yr Author well thank you all...i am working to get the followed addons and it would be wonderful if someone else will tell about the addon that in use in his flight simulator...
September 22, 200916 yr Not at my computer right now, but I'll do my best from memory. this is what I currently use..probably some other small ones i cant remember :Payware :-GE Pro-Flight Environment -Active Sky-Ultimate Terrain USA/Canada-Natural World Trees-Your choice of AI Traffic Add-on...i use one that people get fussy about :( -Many, many airports made by many different companies.these are aircraft which almost everyone will agree are excellent:-Pretty much any Carenado (newer ones have some problems)-Dreamfleet Baron 58-Aeroworx B200-PMDG 737/747-Lvl-D 767Freeware :-AIRLand Textures (runway/taxiway replacements)-SmoothAI-VC Rain replacement-Aircraft light replacement-AI Timeout-GATraffic (excellent program to getting A LOT of GA aircraft flying at all airports)Also make sure you get a decent joy stick with alteast twist rudder. Also, if you fly in the VC a lot, you may want to look into getting TrackIR. Lets you use your head to actually look around...cant fly without it now that I have it. - Red E8500 @ 4.1 | EVGA 275GTX (overclocked) | 2x2GB Mushkin Enhanced Redline @ 1066 | Samsung 24inch LCD @ 1920x1080 |
