September 22, 200916 yr I have a strange problem with AI aircraft texture disappearing. I first noticed it while taxiing in Auckland, NZ airport. The larger parked aircraft (747, etc.) had their textures, but the smaller parked planes (B1900D, Dash 8-300) had the model outlines with no texture. Then, in Rome Fiumicino, there was an Air France Regional ERJ145 (evolveai) with its textures in tact, but they disappeared, leaving only the model shape one it began taxiing. I looked around the airport, and noticed that all of the parked AI planes had the proper textures, but there was a line of blank models (w/o textures) taxing toward the runway.I installed a second GTX295 card in my computer to run in SLI mode. Could this have something to do with it?Any help would be appreciated.Mike Michael Gutierrez. North Hollywood, California

Some AI aircraft were made for previous versions of FS and are not compatible with DX10. Turn off DX10 preview and the problem should go away.Best regards,Jim Young
September 23, 200916 yr I have a very similar (the same ?) problem without DX10 Preview enabled, but it's all to do with distance - the textures disappear once the AI aircraft move more than about 500-600 yards away. Is this perhaps what you are seeing ? If so, I'm afraid I don't have a fix for it - but I'd dearly like one !
