Hello friends :( A quick question for all you simmers with the C130 Pro Pack (all versions) for FSX. I notice it has the C130J version. What I would like to know is if this models glass cockpit is included? Its not very clear on their website and although mention is made of the J-model the screenshots only show the steam-gauge cockpit.The FS9 version I have also has the J-model but does not have the glass flightdeck, is this the case with the FSX version too? Thanks guys :(

The Captainsim C-130J doesn't feature the correct J flightdeck, they just put the same one in they used with the C-130H.

Probably becuase programming glass gauges is complicated and costly...The plane is a blast to fly. I use a realityxp garmin gps when I don't want to do old fashioned VOR to VOR flying. The plane flies the flight plans well. The only thing is that the flight director doesn't work worth a darn. Only real gripe with the plane. It's a fantastic add on.

hmstiger - Yea I have the full FS9 version. I was just hoping they had upgraded the FSX version to have the glass of the -J. It is a blast to fly no doubt, one of the worlds legendary machines no doubt. Up there with the DC3 :)

HiI read somewhere recently that Flight 1 are producing the VC for the previously Alphasim c17, if we asked nicely would they do a glass cockpit for the CS C130J??????? Such a fine add-on airplane the J is just an unworthy tease.
