September 27, 200916 yr I've been installing Mexico this weekend and came across a number of terrain mesh/landclass sceneries from Dr. Jos
September 28, 200916 yr What's the matter, no one knows the answer to this?Nah, no one wants to tell you the secrets :( Just kidding. As far as I know this should not be a problem as long as there is no empty texture folder associated with the scenery folder containing the bagels (.bgl files). That scenario can lead FS to allocating memory space to texture files it cannot find that it will not release, leading to OOM.To pinpoint the file causing the CTD, remove half of the bagels in the suspect folder and do a test flight. If you still get a CTD remove half of the remaining files and retest. If you experience no CTD during that initial test flight, replace half of the removed files and retest. This procedure can pinpoint bead files rather quickly. regards,Joe The best gift you can give your children is your time.
September 28, 200916 yr Author Thanks Joe! Thought that I'd post the question here in case anyone knew the answer so I didn't have to take a test flight. These types of errors, (while trivial in their complexity), can be really time consuming. I mean, if you only have 2 hours of free time to take a flight, then would you want to fly or debug? So that's where forums can be really, really useful. That is if you don't have to dance through them. So even though the answer was very simple, the flight from MMPR to MMMZ takes more then an hour to recreate the exact circumstance of the CTD. Now here's the result...2 Files have issues with FSGlobal or my version of Matzatlan or they don't like the color of my aircraft...Mazatlan M
