RAFCAD GA Models?

Featured Replies

Dear all,Are there any good PAI/AIA-style (low polygon) AI GA Aircraft models around? Has anyone used those in the GATM extra pack? Any word on flight models? Thanks!sg

Howdy:In my AFCAD/flightplan package for British Columbia, I included template folders and instructions for setting up a few more AI GA aircraft, such as the Pitts S-1S, the DHC2 Beavers, and the BushHawk. The package name is bc_afcad.zip, available here at avsim.Cheers, Holger

Thanks, mate!Looks like GA just isn't getting any AI attention!

There are quite a few repaints for the default Baron. While that's not as sophisticated as the Aardvark LOD models, it lets you mix up that one plane's flights a bit.I usually don't worry much about keeping GA frame-rate friendly. Typically, GA is at smaller airports in smaller numbers than airliners, so you don't have the cumulative effect of many planes in a confined space.
