FS9 Scenery Shimmering

Featured Replies

Having recently installed the latest Nvidia Update I'm having problems with scenery shimming.I'm hoping someone can help me with this situation, please.Ken

Just so you know, in my personal experience (and I like to believe I have quite a bit dealing with computers and FS specificly) it's impossible to completely eliminate shimmering, esp at complex add-on airports. Running the highest settings for AA def help, but it would be unplayable with even the best computers. So you need to find a compromise.

2 questions; did you have scenery shimmer before and if not why did you mess with an otherwise good set up? I get fed up writing that the latest nvidia drivers are the cure of all ills. If it aint broke, don't try and fix it!!

Well, yes I did actually. The fact that I mentioned the nVidia Update was to avoid answers advising me to do so.In the end I solved the problem by using nHancer.Thank you for your reply,Ken
