October 2, 200916 yr Hi everyone. Can anyone tell me how to delete a route discontinuity in the 737' FMC? Whatever I do the disco never disappears. I have tried the delete and clear button, I have tried clicking on the way point below and by passing the disco (this works in the 747) Nothing seems to work. I have looked at the manuals and cannot seem to find any referecne to how this is done.Any tips would be greatly appreciated.ThanksJimmy
October 2, 200916 yr I have seen this with some of the AIRAC SID/STAR and approach / missed approach procedures...Check to see if you have two waypoints identical, one with some alt restriction perhaps...The way I deal with this is to delete one of the duplicated waypoints, then delete the disco...It works with me...Hope this may help a bit...Andrew Andrew Entwistle
October 2, 200916 yr Jimmy is correct. What happens most of the time is there is another waypoint listed later in the legs that is either the same as another or behind the waypoint where the disco is. This happens when you enter a SID and an approach with identical waypoints. Just scan through your legs, you will find the problem child. October 2, 200916 yr Joe, I believe you meant to say Andrew is correct (me)... :)Thanks for verifying what I wrote... I am in the office, so a lot is from memory of the Air Berlin 738 flights I have been doing lately...Andrew Andrew Entwistle
