October 2, 200916 yr SO i turned on DX10 Mode for FSX and I'm getting about 20% more FPS, but there seems to be a lack of AA. I have it checked on in NHancer but its seems to have no effect. Whats the problem, my GPU, NHancer FSX, is this a know problem?? Thanks Guy.
October 2, 200916 yr Commercial Member AA does not work in DX10 mode - known issue with FSX, nothing we can do about it. You're likely only seeing more FPS because of the lack of AA, DX10 should hurt your performance against DX9 with the same settings, not raise it. October 3, 200916 yr With Nvidia card, I have no problem with AA, but also have to have AA checked on in FS config to get AA working correctly.DX10 GTX 285 card with 190.62 driver.Trevor Trevor Golding
October 3, 200916 yr Commercial Member Ok maybe that's what I'm thinking of then, you have to use the in-game AA - forcing from the control panel doesn't work. Still, I do not recommend using DX10 mode, it's incomplete and lowers performance. Ryan MaziarzFor fastest support, please submit a ticket at http://support.precisionmanuals.com
October 3, 200916 yr There is a question that does come to mind, if Aerosoft does get their replacement out for FSX, will they have everything in place so all of the add ons that people have purchased will work with not tooo much trouble, I know for myself the computer I built, is starting to get behind the tech curve and in the beginning FSX was a real pain, I would hate to know that after getting everything to run reasonably well the new replacement would be another flightsim nightmare, by the way the Jetstream runs very well considering what I have, thanks for an outstanding product, keep em coming.
