I am thinking of buying Ultimate Terrain X, after reading reviews on different sites I am a bit confused, some say the product is the best thing out there, and of course others say very little change noticed, and I have read of installation problems in some Forums. I am also thinking of buying Ground Environment X are they compatible and which should I install first (if It matters) I went to the Review Forum in AVSIM and could not find any thing on this. Thanks for any advice on this.

Sorry about that, just read below topic (UTX) and it helped alot. I guess I just need to know are they compatible and which should I install first. thanks for the help.

There is a review from some time back of the UTX / GEX combination here at Avsim. Installation order doesn't matter that much, but you would want to install the GEX textures after UTX has been installed. Both of these products are large downloads and add or replace a lot of files within FSX, so a thorough Defrag after the installation is highly recommended.
