October 10, 200916 yr Commercial Member The Red button is the Autopilot disconnect, not sure what you mean by he used it a lot. You only press it once to disconnect, if you hold it down it locks out the other sidestick you will also hear a aurel warning 'Sidestick priority Left/Right' Rob Rob Prest
October 10, 200916 yr As Rob says, The Red Button is the autopilot button which (as he points out) is highly unusual that it is ' Used a lot'. I would suspect that what you are seeing on Your Tube is the pilot using the red lever which you would need to depress in order to talk to ATC. Tristan Living in the beautiful Chilterns.
