PieterI have read the Basic and Advanced Manuals an I understand how the switches work.Well, some of it. Mode 1 works with (+1,8) and the K and CP numbers.I have not been able to set the conditional switches for button 9 and 10 (mode 2 and mode 3).Can you show me, the switches, on part of your FSUIPC ini file? With an example of the correctparameters, I should be able to sort this out. Bill

This is the buttons section of my FSUIPC file. As you can see, I'm only using mode 1 and sometimes mode 3 to change the nav-radio's. Until PMDG provides more keyboard commands it is not possible to add more commands to the joystick.

PieterThanks for the FSUIPC ini buttons. My FSUiPC ini is the same as yours except for those using the switchs (+1,8) (+1,9) (+1,10), which do not install.Is there any other flags or switches, that are required in the ini file? I have missed somrthing here.Bill

You double checked the file SaiD0BAC.pr0 doesn't exist in your system32 directory? With that file in place the modes on the controller do not work. If the file is not present/renamed, try to delete the buttons section in the ini-file (and save), go to FSX and than to FSUIPC; buttons & switches tab. Move the mode switch and ensure this is captured by FSUIPC as the buttons 1,8 ; 1,9 and 1,10. If that's the case, please PM me your ini file. Maybe I can find an error in it.

Bill,Your settings work perfectly with me. I'm afraid I can't help you any further. You could aks Peter Dowson if he can think of something. It has definitely nothing to do with pmdg: also in default cessna these settings work well. My last suggestion would be to look at the following lines:

[JoyNames]AutoAssignLetters=No0=Saitek Pro Flight YokePushback

What does Pushback mean over there? Is that some kind of error? Don't know if this can cause your troubles, but maybe... Good luck, hope you sort it out!

Pieter,Auto AssignLetters=no =Yes, changes the number to letters.0=Saitek Pro Flight YokePushback Look at button "15 K80,9; Pushback" K80 is shift+P tug pushes back the aircraft.I changed the button 15 to a different setting and the Joy Names changed to: 0=Saitek Pro Flight Yoke.No doubt, there is something not compatible, with my computer. I have run out of time, for this problem. I'll be leaving the country a a few days.When I get back home, I may look at the problem again.Thanks Pieter.Bill Taylor
