This is a first time post..for Tinmouse2.. My FSUIPC is the latest version and I use PFC flight controls, throttles and radio stack... 1.. RMI...The VOR needles do not work on NAV 1 and 2.. DME readings OK 2.. Red Flags on the EPR gauges...not working 3.. Red Flag on the Altimeter.. I fixed this by replacing the gauge with the Probst 727 altimeter... 4.. I have to use the F6/F7 Keys to actuate the flaps...My PFC Flap lever will not move the flaps. 5..The Flap position gauge does not work... I replaced it... I assume I may have missed some settings on the overhead or radio stack panel..??Ray LunningSurprise AZ

All of the non-functioning gauges are the result of not having a power source connected to the busses. A B732 does not do this automatically...you have to manually select a power source on the OHP.The PFC lever can be used for the flaps (I use one myself) but you have to program the upward and downward switch throws to send an offset command via FSUIPC as described in the readme. The regular FS flap command does not work...it was modelled this way so that flaps work (or don't work) properly based on hyd pressure/electrical power and the flight control switch positions--use of the default FS commands resulted in flap movement with no power on the jet.RegardsBob ScottColonel, USAF (ret)ATP IMEL Gulfstream II-III-IV-VColorado Springs, CO

Do I make this thru the PFC display (PFC.dll) or the FSUIPC display (FSUIPC.dll) ?? Where is the readme?? FSUIPC or PFCPS: I got 4 hours last week in a 737-200 full motion simulator in Las Vegas..Ray Lunning

The readme files are included with the Tinmouse downloads and version updates. The PFC drivers make their inputs via FSUIPC. The button programming is done in FSUIPC. I did it by going to the FSUIPC drop-down in FS9, selecting the buttons tab, checking the aircraft specific option, and then actuating the flap lever to detect the button...then you set it up to send the correct offset and value as I described in the readme (in the V1.2 update if I remember correctly).RegardsBob ScottColonel, USAF (ret)ATP IMEL Gulfstream II-III-IV-VColorado Springs, CO

Bob: EVERYTHING is working OK except the spoilers...The readme states, "set the lever control to PROP PITCH 2.. With the 737 panel up and running... The PROP PITCH 2 is the same lever as my right engine.. I assume you use "Axis Assignments" if not how do I get to Prop Pitch 2.. or do I just use the #2 throttle lever..??? Or how do i get to Prop pitch 2... Many thanks for your help so far..ray lunning

Ray, it's easy with the PFC quadrant...in FS open up the PFC window, select the quadrants tab, and in the window at the upper right scroll to the right until you get to an unused "User Config X"--you can type in "Tinmouse" or whatever there, then select what you want each lever to control in the individual axes. For the spoilers, select "PropPitch2", and check the "RVS" and enable boxes for that axis, then click on "assign to aircraft" and you should be good to go.Which throttle quad control head are you using? Bob: I have all the PFC quadrants...I assume I open FS2004 then load the Tinmouse 737 ? Then I open the PFC window ??.. At this point I would have my two engine jet quadrant installed... So again I assume that while in this mode I will select "throttle quad Type"

You're going to define a new quadrant type for the 'mouse. Just to the right of the "set defaults" button in the quadrants page is a window showing the quadrant type, i.e. "Jet 2 Engined" If the background in that box is grey, it's a default PFC type. You want to scroll to the right with the arrow button to the right of the type window until you get to one of the user-defined types, i.e. "User Config 1" with a white background in the window. Then you configure each lever...in the case of the 2-engine quad, the first lever might be reverser, the second is unassigned (no physical lever there on the 2-engine quad) the third and fourth are throttle1 and throttle 2, the fifth is also unassigned, and the sixth is PropPitch2 with RVS checked (since the zero position is full forward).RegardsBob ScottColonel, USAF (ret)ATP IMEL Gulfstream II-III-IV-VColorado Springs, CO
