Hi all,Last week I upgraded from a E8500 to a Q9550.From that moment on Windows hangs immidately when loading the desktop.Booting in normal/safe mode gives no issues.However I am using Vista Ultimate 64 bit and need the Unsigned drivers mode to use TP.All suggestions are welcome. Who can help me get TP running again ?

Are you saying it hangs just when using TileProxy? Or cant you get to desktop? I use the readydriver plus app, it works perfectly on my machine.Oftenn its best when installing new hardware, to do a re install of windows as well. Sounds daunting, but always good to clear out the crap every 6 months or so. That way you can ensure no left over driver or .dll conflicts etc. cheers, Mark

No utility works on my pc.I always had to use F8, but since the moment I upgarded form an E8500 to a Q9550 Windows hangs when arriving on the dektop.Readydriver I tried also and Windows keeps on working , but when starting up TP it will not load as when I did not use F8.I tried DSEO too, but no luck either.Either it has to do with the processor, or with one of the latest Windows Updates.My system is running perfectly, no errors etc.I know my way around Windows and building Fs pc's , but this is over my head.

Hi, in that case I dont know, but again, I would suggest a re install still, as tracking down these things can be almost impossible. maybe someone in the hardware forum has an idea?cheers,Mark

Finally I found the cause.When Vista starts up I normally have 3 programs running in the background.( Listed in MSConfig )Don't ask me why, but all programs where checked now.Probably there are two or more programs which don't like eachother that much and cause problems.
