Single Large 28" LCD or 2 21.5" LCDs?

Featured Replies

Hope this isn't a redundant thread, but looking for your opinions on the alternatives of either a single 28-inch 1920 X 1200 LCD or two 21.5-inch 1920 x 1080 LCDs. About the same outlay for either choice dollar wise - but what would drive your choice? I have the desktop space for either. Like to fly heavies. Thanks all for any feedback

It's a matter of personal preference. I've tried both and right now favor the larger single monitor option. The PC in my sig is connected to a 42" plasma tv and it looks fantastic. The PC I'm using to type this message is connected to a 32" LCD tv and it also looks good. If you always fly in the VC (or even just the 2d cockpit) a single large monitor is probably the best option. If you fly on VATSIM or have other 3rd party apps perhaps a second monitor would be the best way to go.

Thanks TechguyMaxC - will probably go large - second monitor for panel placement, other support (Radar Contact), etc. can be on a smaller monitor.
