October 16, 200916 yr I hear people speak of the .cfg file but I looked in mine and it was empty. Not sure if that's where I do it, but I'm trying to setup my typical mouse pics in FS9 so I don't have to choose them every time I start a new session. Items such as:- Weather - user defined- Aircraft - Flight1 add-on instead of default 172- Airport - Starting airpot KPHL, and starting location on rampAre these changeable or do I have to set them every time I enter FS9?What about in-flight pop-up window size and position for things such as GPS and over-head view?
October 16, 200916 yr Hello,Will be short :)Load the plane you want at the location you want with the weather you want :)In the main menu .. choice save a flight and when in the save window dialog give a name to your flight and comments and also (important!) not forget to tick the default option.Next time you will start FS2004 you will be in the plane you wanted at the location you wanted and with the weather you wanted :)Remark:By experience it's allways better to start FS2004 with a default plane like the C172 and a default terrain and after load a saved flight So as above you can save your flight but not tick as default .. and after start with the original default .. go in the main menu and choice to load a saved flightBut it's up to you.Hope it's helpRegards.Gus.
