I'd like them to appear before I get too close.I am currently using TreeGen V 1.0 By Feng Zhu.I was using Howard's treeswap, and thought it might change if I used treegen.The tree's are still being drawn as I get too close.I usually keep my scenery complexity setting on dense, as well as the scenery autogen density.

your settings are fine. close and far are very relative. A screen shot is worth a 1000 words, as we can then tell you if that's whats expected or not.

Thanks for responding. I'll try and get a couple of screen shots and post them. I was just trying to duplicate and it wasn't doing it. I think it is probably normal given my particular setup. I changed these two settings. TERRAIN_DEFAULT_RADIUS=9.500000 TERRAIN_EXTENDED_RADIUS=4.500000. I've read different things about these settings. I had them set like this before but figured I'd try 4. After reading the info at this site, http://www.scenerysolutions.com/doc/performanceTuning.pdf I figured I go back to 9.5 and 4.5. I really don't see allot of noticeable difference. I changed this setting to 3 instead of 240 after reading the info posted at the site. TERRAIN_EXTENDED_LEVELS=3 There seems to be different recommendations regarding these settings around. I suppose the setup one has determines which is best.I was approx 10 miles from the airport, landing, when I saw the trees appearing. I was hoping to change a setting to make them appear a little sooner..

10 miles sounds about right for when trees start popping up
