October 23, 200916 yr Well I was having a problem witrh the 737-800. I had downloaded and installed the PMDG 737 -600/700 and all was well. Then I bought the PMDG 737-800 (via ebay) and installed the standalone version. Then I got a" brakes message" appearing which I posted about a few days ago. No solution found so I decided to uninstall and then reinstall the PMDG 737-800/900 from the disk. I had previously installed the Air Europa livery on the 737-800 and had this set as my default flight. Now when I try to run FS9 I get a message saying the AirEuropa Livery cant be found and fs9 refuses to continue loading past that point. How can I solve this - please. I am an FS9 junkie!!Bill

I am not at home so I can't tell you the line, but your need to reset your default flight in fs9.cfg. If that doesn't work, try renaming the fs9.cfg to something else and let FS9 build a clean one. Next reconfigure FS9 per your previous configuration and "tweaks". George Morris

I would like to retain my original cfg file as I have many tweaks applied (I did save a copy of it). Being 12 pages long it takes some checking and of course all my tweak settings are showing different values. It would shortcut all this if I could get at the default flight setting and change it alone. Is this the line DEF_PERF_MODE= 6 that I need to change?Bill

October 24, 200916 yr Author GeorgeI have got it going quite well now. I was downloading the wrong livery (using one with winglets when my default flight was without winglets doh!!) After resetting the key commands from the pull down menu my CP Flight MCP and EFIS are also working properly again. This all after only one test flight and as an added bonus my strange "brakes message " has disappeared and I can achieve a nice roll out without coming to a standstill on the runway. Once again many thanks for your continued help and support - much appreciated.Bill
