October 30, 200916 yr Hi. In the 2D cockpit view I can remove the panel to give an unrestricted view ahead, but once I pan around about 45 degrees the cockpit suddenly pops into view. Is there any way of changing this so that I can get a full 360 uninterrupted view?CheersDel

October 30, 200916 yr [Hi There,Yeah I know what your after..I have been after a way of losing the 2d cockpit view whilst inside the plane so as you can look all around without anything blocking your view ie windows etc...in 2004 you had to delete an entry in the aircraft config i believe im just not sure if it was a general one to cover all aircraft or one which you had to do to each plane seperatley. Anyway hopefully someone will understand and help us out..gaz :(

October 30, 200916 yr Del,1. This "feature" was added with SP1. If I wanted it bad enough I wouldn't upgrade.2. There was an exhaustive discussion of this some time ago either here or at the "other" site. You should be able to track it down. It worked, I gather, but it wasn't of a sufficient need to me so I didn't test it personally.3. Since the 2D is really a VC now with the front view hidden, on the rare occasions when I want to do what you are describing I just move the viewpoint UP above the cockpit, or below, or out in front.4. you may also create an alternate camera view that is already at one of these locations (to use on these occasions). This one is 10' above the default location and you still lose the panel or instruments after 45 Hooked since FS4... now flying: FSX Acceleration on Win7/64, Core Duo E8400; GA-EP45-DS3R; GTX 460-768MB; 4G RAM; Freezer 7 Pro
