JS4100 and GoFlight Modules

Featured Replies

I am running the new PMDG JS4100 on FSX with Vista 64 bit and various GoFlight modules, including two RP48s. I have managed to assign the Course and Heading bugs (both increase and decrease) to rotary knobs on the RP48, by completing key assignments in the JS4100 ini file, and then using FSUIPC keys and buttons assignments (cant seem to assign the altitude bug thogh), and the bugs respond to the knob movements, but move very slowly (too slowly to be usable). Any idea how the rotary knobs can be assigned and/or re-calibrated to increase the response? Also, as PMDG has not released many key assignments for this aircraft, it is generally difficult to fully utilize all GoFlight modules. For example, the TQ6 works fine for power and condition levers, but not for flaps. Any tips on how to better utilize GoFlight modules with this aircraft (which is a very good one) would be much appreciated.

Sorry to break it to you but this is one of the areas that the J41 falls short. There is hope that PMDG will release more key commands/offsets as this has been the topic of numerous threads. *-PLEASE-* ;)I also have several Go-Flight modules including the RP48 and have been able to use them somewhat through a registered copy of FSUPIC, do you have this?
