Blaze's post in Aerosoft AIrbus AXE PDF/ND not rotating after IRS alignment was marked as the answerFound the answer in the thread below if anyone else has the same issue.
I bought my Airbus while on sale a while back and am just now getting around to try using it so it looks like I had an earlier version.
Updating and reinstalling...

Blaze's post in Saitek Rudder Pedals Not Working Properly in FSX was marked as the answerMake sure they are properly Calibrated in Windows too.
The other common problem with toe brakes is they tend to be reversed (On while stagnate and off when pushed) make sure you have the axis reversed so that the brakes are applied when you push them not the other way around.
I see you're using FSUIPC; make sure you calibrate the axis there too not just assigned.

Blaze's post in Custom Scenery missing in 10.25 or perhaps after V2 Mesh install? was marked as the answerLooking at the file structure seems to have solved the mystery. As stated above I tent to like to rename folders in my custom scenery file to coincide with the Airports IACO Code. It looks like when I did this I created the problem by unzipping downloaded scenery directly to those renamed folders. The author of this airport (and most likely the others) had all of the earth nava data etc. contained in their own folder. By unzipping directly into the folder I created I inadvertantly made the authors folder a sub folder which prevented the scenery from being loaded. Hope my mistake can prevent others from making the same...
