  1. Just Flight has a few in the works right now the 747 and A300 look like they could be worthy, and the F-28 if looking for something a bit smaller. https://www.justflight.com/in-development
  2. Might be worth mentioning...I've noticed there can be a bit of a delay before it begins to play so give it a second to begin. I'm assuming this is an attempt to model the looping nature of the playback.
  3. Glad to see Polly Pot working(?) Has anyone found a way to make your set up persistent, it appears to me that I have to re-enable and reconfigure my GF modules in GIT each session which is less than ideal.
  4. Thanks for pointing that out, they must have changed their policy since which does make it a little more palatable but, doesn't forgive the fact that I have a fairly new 50 euro product that is now useless. Moreover, renewal should be from the time you renew not the expiration of the last period why pay for dead/no use time? Under this practice if you wait long enough you'd end up paying for nothing and be right back in the same boat? They should also make it perfectly clear (maybe they have now) that this is subscription based software and not make false claims that you can continue to use the last version you had installed. Anyway, it's a good program I liked it while I had access to it but potential buyers should be aware.
  5. To add insult to injury if you go to renew your subscription with Flight Control it renews from the end of your previous subscription not the date you renew. I let mine lapse because I wasn't sure if I was going to renew or not when I went to renew for a year I was only going to get an eighth month extension, that was enough for me to look elsewhere. It's a good program I liked it but their pricing is high and the subscription base renewal program was a deal breaker. Especially when the author/creator claimed you could continue to use the last version you had since "you paid for it" but nope...Welcome to Demo Mode; lost my trust and my support as a customer with that decision.
  6. I was in the exact same boat, I couldn't have said it any better. My Simmarket order history alone is five pages deep and most orders were multiple products, that's not even counting the places I bought direct from. No regrets though and who knows I may end up with more this go around if the the life cycle of the core sim is as long lived but I'm looking to exercise a bit more restraint this go around.
  7. Nice job! Really cool you took the time to take a cut at this...Thanks! Having visited in person it's nice to see a better recreation of this fascinating place in the sim.
  8. I guess I like throwing money out the window then, cause I'm about to throw another $700 out on a new RTX3080 on 17 Sep 😄
  9. Might be awhile but I'm looking forward to TFDi's version.
  10. You're not alone, noticed this too. Some aircraft more noticeable than others.
  11. My hunch is we'll see a number of higher fidelity aircraft in time for the holidays.
  12. Will there be a package/ bundle offer sold if we hold out for KDCA? Not talking about a discount per se, would just prefer to have it as a cumulative add on. For me, in the sim at least, KDCA is DC's commercial airport.
  13. Thanks. Slaps forehead, I looked right at it more than once and just missed it.
  14. Can anyone point to where the anti-ice controls are or if they are modeled? A quote from their brochure, "The ice detection system automatically detects icing conditions and informs the crew when the ice protection systems must be activated." I've looked around in the cockpit but don't see anything, I'll try mapping "toggle anti ice" to a switch or button and see if that works?
  15. I fly it quite a bit actually, I just manage the throttle. I understand AOA it has an AOA guage in the MIP. In all fairness it's got good sounds and I've enjoyed flying it over the last ten days. Hard to get the CG in limits according to the fuel and cargo page without adding a lot of weight to the rear stations.
  16. In full disclosure "No" I'm not a type rate Longitude pilot but I don't think I need to be to say it's OP... Okay I'll bite, far from scientific and just for grins, I looked up it's performance on Wikipedia, says 16 minutes to 43K at 33,000lbs probably not max rate. I loaded a standard day at KSAN set the weight and launched. I was overspeeding climbing through 33K and made FL430 in 6:27 seconds; you be the judge.
  17. Yes, it's way overpowered. I've been able to control that with throttle management. Have not encountered the stall issue, with the flaps down. Could be a cool biz jet with a lot of love but your right its disappointing as is.
  18. Yep, watched this a couple days ago and thought the same.
  19. Don't think it's ridiculous at all, I've got four Bodnar cards and seven GoFlight modules myself. Following
  20. You should. Easy to overlook being 1918ft of grass strip but it's one of the additional detailed small strips it's worth giving it a go. Would recommend taking something a bit heavier than you might otherwise and launch from RWY 08. Don't worry too much if you don't quite make it to rotation speed... Enjoy!
  21. Set up a flight from W43 Hulett to go have a look at America's 1st national monument. Using preset weather few clouds and time set to late afternoon I took off in the yellow Zlin Savage Cub. The scenery in this particular area is excellent and is worth it to just go for a sightseeing flight. However, the monument is a bit of a disappointment. It isn't a hand crafted item, the sim does try to represent it but it's misshaped and has trees growing on top. Which is unfortunate since the rest of the area is excellent. For those unfamiliar with the monument it gained notoriety in Steven Spielberg's 1977 movie Close Encounters of the Third Kind.
