MD11X hoses the 747-400X

Featured Replies

Hi,Bought the MD11X the other night and after installing it, the 747-400X appears to have been taken out of action. The gauges are black and there's no PMDG options on the menu.I feel it's due to the dll.xml being affected but surely a PMDG product should not affect another one? They use the same entries.Anyone else offer any advice on this? I see one or two similar forum posts but no real resolution. Support emailed. Just checking here.Reinstalled both, in reverse order also, no difference.Regards,Max Kraus

Max-There really is no reason one would affect the other- they don't even know each other exist. We recommend you uninstall BOTH, then install the 400X (do NOT save your old aircraft.cfg... it will not work..) and load the sim to make sure it flies. Then install the MD-11X...

Robert. Thanks I will keep trying. I agree they theoretically shouldn't affect each other. I don't know why they are. I have the 400X back in and working, will try the MD-11X again. Max Kraus
