November 2, 200916 yr Hi everyoneBeen have a strange issue lately?Taxi, takeoff roll, V1, VR etc when climbing try to engage Autopilot and it disconnects immediately. Press Z again same thing? Try to click on the AP button by throttles... same again disconnects immediately? After a while of going throught this it then connects and happily follows FD?Am I missing something as its only just started happening? Many thanks for any adviceRussell Bailey Russ Bailey

I've finally found that it was related to the trims of the plane. Acting on them disconnect the AP, and unfortunately having them mapped to sliders on my Saitek joystick caused the AP to disconnect (because it seemed that the trims were always oscillating a little bit around their position). To solve the problem, I've decreased the sensibility of my joystick's slider around the center value of the trim, so now, the AP works perfectly :) (as long as my trim slider on the Saitek stay at it's center position).Hope it may help.Best regards!Vincent Bozzo
November 2, 200916 yr You have to trim the plane out first, and second activate the AP. Otherwise AP will disconnect directly. Regards. Matthias Hanel MilViz Beta Team
