Hi GuysI recently bought Flight Simulator X Gold Edition, Deluxe and Acceleration are both installed, but im having trouble playing it.I load free flight up, after 25secs (everytime) the following happens. Please see 'YouTube' video as this will explain to problem better than i can in words :(http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MYdlV8-fGW4My PC Spec*Win XP PRO SP3*e6400 2.13ghz core 2 duo *P5q VM asus mobo *7900 GS*4gb of corsair pc6400 RAMAll the lastest bios and drivers are installed. Thanks for looking and you help.Cheers

Clearly a video problem. Check your graphics card's cooling. Make sure the fan spins freely. Blow out the heatsink and fan with some canned air or vacuum it clean. Also inspect the capacitors on the graphics card for failure. You can see examples of this here. If you still experience this issue then I would suggest downloading a GPU stress test such as Furmark. If your card passes this test it is perfectly fine and the problem lies elsewhere. Let us know how this works for you and further troubleshooting can be performed at that point if necessary.

I think you could be right, just tried running other games.. same problem :( Opened the case up, it was that hot you could fry a egg in there. haJust have to wait a little bit longer for FSXThanks for you all your help.Excuse now for buying something new !!!

Get RivaTuner and turn up the GPU fan speed to 100%
