July 5, 200322 yr Do you have an onboard audio chip? I do, but added an Audigy II ($69 US) and now I don't have the FPS hit like I did formerly. You can also influence how much the CPU is used in audio processing by moving the slider in DirectX Diag (RUN > dxdiag). Less acceleration = less CPU use = less FPS penalty.Noel Noel System: 9900X3D Noctua NH-D15 G2, MSI Pro 650-P WiFi, G.SKILL 64GB (2 x 32GB) 288-Pin PC RAM DDR5 6000, WD NVMe 2Tb x 1, Sabrent NVMe 2Tb x 1, RTX 4090 FE, Corsair RM1000W PSU, Win11 Home, LG Ultra Curved Gsync Ultimate 3440x1440, Phanteks Enthoo Pro Case, TCA Boeing Edition Yoke & TQ, Cessna Trim Wheel, RTSS Framerate Limiter w/ Front Edge Sync. July 5, 200322 yr Author Also you can change the quality within FS by pressing Options > preferences > Sound and change the quality level. This also has a small fps change.RegardsG-MIDYhttp://www.airliners.net/open.file/265713/L/ Lawrence Ashworth
