You might consider adding your name to that long signature block.Verify you have FSX SP2 or Acceleration installed, or maybe reinstall the patch.

I've read a couple guys who had to remove and then reinstall the SP2 patch. Might not work but it is worth a try. The 2D windows are using a SP2 feature, I think.
