November 26, 200916 yr Ok so I have the installer but it keep telling me I don't have FS9 9.1 (updated). So I uninstalled the update + reinstalled it, did a fresh download of the update and ran FS9 and it shows that its been updated, yet it will not let me install it. I'd like to fly my MD-11 tonight.Win 7 Home 64x
November 26, 200916 yr Are you using the no CD patch? If so that's your problem. Dan Schultz REX Latitude BETA Team Member https://rexlatitude.com
November 27, 200916 yr Try this if it's still acting up, I got it from an old post.1.Open your Flight Simulator 9 directory.2. If you have the 9.1 or 9.0 no-CD crack file, move it to the desktop.3. Copy the original FS9.EXE file from your FS 2004 install disc #1 (it's inside the "GAME" folder) into your Flight Simulator 9 directory. 4. Move the folder named "BACKUP" from your Flight Simulator 9 directory to the Recycle Bin. This is very important because the update will not run if it detects this folder in your root FS directory.5. Run the 9.1 update. Dan Schultz REX Latitude BETA Team Member https://rexlatitude.com
November 27, 200916 yr Commercial Member The problem is that you're using an FS 9.0 no-CD exe with an FS 9.1 installation. You need to get the FS 9.1 no-CD exe. I obviously can't tell you where to get this, but that is what's causing the problem. Ryan MaziarzFor fastest support, please submit a ticket at http://support.precisionmanuals.com
