July 9, 200322 yr I remember the good ol' days when I was a little boy and playing the "green screen" flight sim. IT WAS GREAT...a timeless classic. I also remember when my father purchased FS5 for me....I was soooo excited. You know, just for the heck of it, I'd love to get my hands on some of the old flight simulators (I still have #5 by the way). Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.P.S. One more question. During what version of FS did SATCO and VATSIM start coming into the picture?
July 9, 200322 yr Microsoft has the CLASSIC FLIGHT SIMULATOR package, which includes FS98 and, I think, the original Combat Flight Simulator. You can pick that up at any store that sells software. FS5 and FS98 are also available separately in their jewel cases for $9.99.
July 9, 200322 yr I think FS1, 2 as well as 4 are downloadable somewhere on the net.Well if now someone comes with illegality - I doubt someone would today want to make any money with these... ;-)
