November 30, 200916 yr Is there a way to tweak fuel capacity on the 700 version,by editing the aircraft.cfg file?Or is this embedded into the model itself?Which lines need to be edited if possible? These are my [fuel] lines in the aircraft.cfg file:[fuel]Center1= -54.670, 0.000, -2.800, 333.000, 0.000 //lleno 4299 galonesLeftMain= -62.120, -16.000, -0.800, 1288.000, 0.000 //lleno 1288 galonesRightMain=-62.120, 16.000, -0.800, 1288.000, 0.000 //lleno 1288 galonesfuel_type=2.000000number_of_tank_selectors=1electric_pump=1The first 3 values are x, y, z coordinates, the next is the fuel quantity (in US gallons) and I don't really know what is the last 0.000I use that loads for my usual short flights. That numbers mean: full wing tanks and 1000 kilos (333 gallons) in the centre one.I've never tried to overload the numbers, but you can try it, see what happens and tell us. :( As you know, the symbol // is for adding commentaries to the line. signed: José Luis
November 30, 200916 yr Author Yes, I thought those lines were the ones to edit, but it didn't work first time I tried.I have now got it work yes.Btw, the 0.000 on the end is unuseable fuel actually.Well, this makes it easier to simulate a BBJ,or in my case a C-40B operation.Anyone know if it is possible to separate out a spesific model with a tweaked cfg file in a folder of its own?So that one wouldn't have to alter the cfg file back and forth every time you want other numbers. December 1, 200916 yr Check this out: http://library.avsim.net/esearch.php?DLID=52549It modifies the fuel and engines, and also allows you to edit the load manager to reflect at BBJ config. It includes some C-40 paints to put icing on the cake. Joe Sherrill
