December 1, 200916 yr Hey all. Some questions. What is Shuttle Flights? What planes are used for it? Can you do shuttle flight in FSX?Mads Andersen
December 1, 200916 yr Do you mean shuttle as in space shuttle? No, FSX does not do space shuttle simulation. If you mean shutle flights as in ferry flights for delivering aircraft or short haul flights, then yes, you can do that with any aircraft in FSX. Paul Smith.

The term can be used for many types of operations in the aviation industry. When where talking about airlines the general meaning is a flight from A to B and then back to A on a short high density route. It doesn't matter what aircraft type is used. Japan air use a 747-400 (without winglets) on a lot of short haul high density routes, BA fly OBBI - OTBD - OBBI with the 747-400 twice a day as a nice little extra money earner, the flight normaly only takes about 20 minutes and you crz around 18000FT but the aircraft is packed with Business commuters.I did it for 5 years with BA, but back when they used the 767 and then the 777 on the route.RegardsRob Rob Prest

I could actually now do something I very rarely do. Fly a real route in the appropriate aircraft/airline. Thanks! Gavin Barbara Over 10 years here and AVSIM is still my favourite FS site :-)
